The capital

I have the BEST boyfriend in the whole wide world!!!!! So we woke up Sunday in Baltimore Maryland, where we're staying for 4 1/2 days for a seminar and he decides to take me to Washington DC. Ok, let me tell you something, first of all Mark and I are traveling. We have been now for over 9 months. So we travel while we travel. Example, while we're living in Connecticut (for 3 weeks) we went to Baltimore, for business BUT STILL. And then while we were traveling while we were traveling we had to travel some more! Are you with me?!

He got us a car (Yukon, very fancy smancy!) with a driver (even fancier) and "Big Mike" (was the driver's name) drove us to Washington DC. He was like our personal tour guide. "Big Mike" took us to DC and showed us the Lincoln memorial, Jefferson memorial, World War II monument, "The Awakening" where Jesus is coming out of the ground, there is an Albert Einstein statue that we took a picture in front of. Of course we went to the White House and the Pentagon. It was my first time in DC and I loooved it! It is such a pretty and clean city! The buildings are beautiful.

Mark pullilng something spectacular together, like always. I love, love, loooooove him!

Then...of course it doesnt' stop there. We drove up to Georgetown and saw the university and ate dinnner at Martin's Tavern Est. 1933. It was right on one of the streets with all the stores and shops. The shopping there is amazing! So many stores. And after we ate it was getting late so we headed back to Baltimore.

I have to go pack now. We're leaving in the morning for Rochester, NY to see our friends Doug and Judy. I can't wait!

Mark has given me the life and I'm always say to myself "Someone is watching over me. I must have done something right to deserve this!" <3 It feels good. I guess one thing I've learned this past year from myself...I should stop questioning it because I am someone who deserves it

There was a moment when we were in the car in DC and Mark was talking to "Big Mike" and he said something along the lines of...you have to fall and kind of hit rock bottom but after that, that's when you rise up and become your strongest. I feel I am at the top.

I have something that I'm planning for us. I want to make it special and memorable.
