a long week with the long sisters

Finally back at "home". I put home in " "'s because Mark and I don't really have a place to call our home, yes we have a roof over our head but we change the location of where we're staying almost every month! And I love it!! I love traveling around with him to all these beautiful places.

So last Tuesday we left for Tampa, Florida. We actually flew into Tampa, from Charleston, with a stop in Charlotte and once we landed we get in a car and drive 2 hours to Cape Coral! Being in Charleston for the past 3 weeks made Mark realize how Florida isn't all that wonderful looking. I mean some parts of the state are just gorgeous with crystal blue water and white sand beaches. But for the most part it's not a place where I or Mark would want to raise a family and live there year round. The summer months you can't even enjoy because it gets so humid.

So in Cape Coral we went out to dinner with our friends, TC and Vickie. They took us to a Jazz Restaurant. It was really nice for a change of things. There was a very talented and mature 24 year old who played the piano and sang. I felt a little bit older than I really am (25) but it was good for the soul.

Then then next day we left and headed back to Tampa. My sister, Nicole flew in to spend time with us. Mark started his seminar that night and me and Nic did some sister bonding, that was really nice ;) I drank so many of those margarita's in the big, huge martini glasses and she drank martinis...in margarita glasses, no I'm just kidding!

Then we crashed nice and early. Poor Mark walked into the hotel room and we're both sleeping like babies.

On Thursday Nic and I did some traveling around the HOT city of Tampa. Mark was in his seminar all day and night. Then on Friday Nic and I headed to Jacksonville to visit our cousin, Lori.

Lori is the coolest. She showed us around, we drove to St Augustine (the oldest city in the nation), we all went shopping, and she was very hospitable. It was really nice bonding and just having a night of girl talk.

On Saturday when I got back to Mark I can't believe how much I missed him! He is just so comfortable to be around and he makes everyone laugh and makes sure everyone is having a great time. I love that about him :)

It was a long week but I enjoyed spending it with my cousin, my big sis and my man, Marky ;)

We're not leaving "home" for at least another 5 weeks, 2 days and some hours!!
